Joining our club is simple and relatively inexpensive.
The first thing you need to do is contact us to arrange your first visit, the information for that process is listed here. This enables us to prepare for your arrival and make sure a member of the committee can introduce you to the club as well as explain safety rules before you shoot.
Before applying to join the club you must complete 4 visits. These visits cost £5/per shooter which covers you under our insurance as well as covers your fee to our land owner. If you require a gun to borrow we have two available and they are loaned out on a first come first served basis. You will have to supply your own ammo which is available from the club or you can bring your own.
Once you have completed your 4 visits you can apply to join, this is a straight forward process where you fill in some paperwork, pay some money and you should be a full member of the club. Members of the club do not pay each visit but are expected to help with club duties such as ground work, preparing shoots and clearing up at the end of each day.
Types of Membership
Our club has 3 levels of membership:
- Single Membership (£50/year)* – This covers 1 person
- Family Membership (£60/year)* – This covers 2 adults and 2 children living at the same address
- OAP Membership (£25/year)* – This covers anyone of retirement age.
The OAP and Family memberships are discounted in price to help keep the sport accessible. Membership costs are reviewed and decided on each year at the club AGM.
Memberships are due on February 1st each year, if you join partway through the year your fee will be discounted to reflect how many months you have until the end of the membership year.
